Host Hermes, the agent that gets better with every task
Hermes is Nous Research's self-improving agent. It keeps long-lived memory, maintains a library of skills it sharpens after every task, and works with more than 200 models through the provider you choose.
An agent that improves by working needs to keep working. On Sokko, Hermes runs on its own always-on machine: its memory and skills survive restarts, sessions do not end when your laptop lid closes, and the improvement compounds instead of resetting.
What Hermes does
Remembers across sessions
Hermes writes what it learns to durable memory files. Ask it something in March and it still knows the answer, and the context, in June.
Sharpens its own skills
After a task, Hermes revises the playbook it used. The tenth research brief is faster and cleaner than the first, because the agent edited its own instructions in between.
Speaks to 200+ models
Pick your provider and model during setup. Swap later without rebuilding anything; the agent keeps its memory either way.
Runs long tasks to completion
Multi-hour research or writing jobs finish because nothing kills the session. The machine stays up; the work stays done.
Deploy Hermes in three steps
Pick a plan
Plans start at Cookie, $12 a month, for the always-on machine. Model usage is separate: bring your own key or use Sokko credits.
Add a model provider
Hermes needs a model to wake up. During setup, pick a provider, then paste your API key or use Sokko credits. The key goes straight into secure storage.
Create and talk
Name the agent and create it. About a minute later Hermes is live at your-name.sokko.ai, with its dashboard and terminal a click away.
What people run on it
A research analyst that compounds
Feed it your domain over weeks. Because memory persists, every brief builds on the last instead of starting from a blank page.
A personal assistant with a real memory
Preferences, projects and people carry over between conversations. You stop repeating yourself; it starts anticipating.
A writing partner on long projects
Book, thesis or documentation: Hermes holds the outline, the decisions and the style notes across months of sessions.
Questions people ask
How much does it cost to host Hermes on Sokko?
Plans start at $12 a month (Cookie) for one always-on agent. Model usage is separate: bring your own API key or use Sokko credits. New accounts get $100 in trial credits.
Does Hermes really need a model key before it starts?
Yes. Hermes will not stay up without a model provider configured, so setup asks for one up front. Paste a key from your provider, or let Sokko credits cover usage.
Does its memory survive restarts?
Yes. Memory and skill files are saved durably and survive restarts, upgrades and crashes. That persistence is the whole point of hosting Hermes somewhere always-on.
Can I move my local Hermes to Sokko?
Yes. Install the CLI with npm i -g sokko and run sokko migrate. It carries your local Hermes files and settings into the hosted agent.
Can several agents share one memory?
Yes, with the shared memory add-on (a paid extra): agents in your organization read and write one shared memory, so what one learns the others know.
